The Truth About Fertility Awareness: The Embodied Approach Every Woman Should Know
Nov 17, 2025
What do we really know about what’s to be?
We can make all the plans. Do all the things. And still, the outcome is never in our control.
There’s one thing in our control and the more we excel at it, the more we realize how much this is the only outcome that matters. The one thing that reflects on who we are and who we’ve become.
It’s how we show up. How we open the path to receive the outcome we desire.
Yes, by doing the things and following the plans – and changing them if we need to. But it's not to control the outcome. It's more like a living, embodied prayer.
Connecting with the divine flow of all goodness is not just about praying with words.
It’s praying with life.
With our flesh and blood.
Through embodied trust.
Most women looking into the fertility awareness method (FAM) come with one of these goals:
“I want to make sense of my cycle.”
“I want to balance my hormones, manage PCOS, irregular cycles, cramps, bloating, etc.”
“I’m looking for a natural and effective birth control option that won’t give me horrible side effects and disconnect me from myself.”
“I want to get pregnant mindfully or work through fertility challenges.”
FAM absolutely supports all of these goals – and more.
But it’s not the way you might think.
Here’s what S.M., who joined the Embodied course in the last cohort, had to say about this process:
“I learned the feminine way of tracking my cycle through Embodied. FAM can be so masculine. It could be a set of technical rules, a set of goals and thinking we're in control. But now I realize I really learned the art of surrender, of really trusting my body and hearing its wisdom speak through my own cycle. And it enhanced my understanding of everything feminine."
You may think this approach doesn’t have a leg to stand on. Because we’re told over and over – hustle, fix, force, chase your goals aggressively.
But in Embodied, the desired outcomes actually become more possible, not less.
Because instead of forcing your body, you finally meet her.
Instead of hustling for control, you move into alignment.
Instead of fear and pressure, you enter presence.
This feminine approach is not just “softer” – it’s more effective.
Because when you’re embodied and regulated, you:
✨ read your fertile signs clearly
✨ chart with confidence
✨ balance your hormones more naturally
✨ reduce stress (and improve your cycle)
✨ grow through the process of your own unique cycle (why folks decided you can just ignore that part completely and pretend that tracking your cycle is purely technical without low-key upgrading every area of your life is beyond me.)
Embodiment doesn’t take you away from results.
It creates the environment where results can finally land.
So, what does the Embodied approach to fertility awareness actually look like?
It begins with coming home to your body.
Before we ever talk about rules, charts, fertile windows, or temperatures… we build the relationship.
We learn to feel safe inside ourselves again.
We remember who we are as women.
We reconnect to the quiet, intimate places that have gone numb, confused, or disconnected.
From that place of inner safety, a relationship naturally forms —
you with your body,
you with your cycle,
you with your feminine rhythm.
And suddenly the signs your body gives you every single day – your cervical fluid, your sensations, your temperature shifts, your hormonal patterns – they become a living conversation.
You learn to read your body.
Hear her. Feel her. Know her. Understand what she's saying, what she needs, and how she’s guiding you.
This is what happens when chochmah and binah come together.
When knowledge meets embodiment.
When the “doing” of FAM is held inside the “being” of feminine wisdom.
And that’s when real daas emerges –
a deep, integrated, intimate knowing of yourself.
From this place, everything becomes clear:
✨when you’ve ovulated
✨when you’re fertile and when you’re not
✨when to expect your period
✨how to prevent pregnancy naturally
✨how to support conception
✨how to balance hormones through connection, not force
It stops being a method you follow from the outside
and becomes a relationship you live from within.
This is the embodied way.
And this is the heart of Embodied.
Embodied opens for registration tomorrow.
Embodied is the space where Jewish women learn both the science and the soul of fertility awareness.
You do not have to figure this out alone.
You deserve a space where you’re guided, supported, and truly seen.
I can't wait to invite you into this beautiful space we've created. And the returning alumni (because once you're in, you get to come back every year!) are excited to meet you and support you, too.
