The Feminine Torah
Feb 06, 2026
This parsha is the premise of the entire parsha point series.
Men and women are vastly different.
We each have different directions, perspectives, and experiences in the world.
There's no clearer example than the way we each distinctively received the Torah.

So you shall say to the house of Jacob and tell the sons of Israel.
(Shemos 19:3)
The “House of Jacob” refers to the women and the “Sons of Israel” refers to the men.
Yup, it was ladies first.
Torah itself is a non-binary truth. But it does have both - a masculine and feminine voice.
For the fullness of this Truth to be revealed and experienced it needs to be received in both, the masculine and feminine perspectives.
The first Torah teacher, Moshe, taught women first, in the language of the feminine - the softness, the beauty, pleasure, and embodiment.
Only once they received it in a way that actually spoke to THEIR power and essence, did he then teach the men in masculine language so they can hear it and accept it in their terms. For example, reward and punishment is a purely masculine concept.
Men and women are different.
There's no shame in that. The Torah's view is for each of us to live from our own power.
It's important to make a distinction here.
The masculine Torah and the feminine Torah are not 2 separate Torahs.
They are two ways of receiving the same Divine truth.
How common is it for a husband and wife who seem to be disagreeing to discover that at the root they're really defending the same core truth. They're just coming at it from completely different perspectives.
The feminine rising is seen so clearly in the feminine Torah becoming more known in our years. And this is exactly the point from which this parsha series was born. To let the feminine voice of Torah be heard.
Women deserve to feel seen in the all-encompassing wisdom of our own heritage. Because it truly does hold space for it all.
Redemptress is where we explore a fundamental principle in Judaism - the unwavering faith in the upcoming Redemption - and how it's essentially conceived and birthed in a woman's body. Through her menstrual cycle, fertility, hormones and other feminine experiences, she carries the code of geulah in her blood.
None of this meant to simply remain lofty, thoughtful concepts. The feminine Torah is meant to be embodied.
